Lontong Sayur ( Indonesian Food )
Lontong Sayur is an Indonesian dish made traditionally in a banana leaf and usually served as lontong sayur, pieces of lontong served in coconut milk soup with shredded chayote, tempe, tofu, hard-boiled egg, sambal and kerupuk.
Ingredients
- 500 grams of young jackfruit
- 150 grams of long beans
- 2 cm galangem
- 2 bay leaves
- 2,000 ml of coconut milk (from 1 1/2 coconut)
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar comb
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
- 2 tbsp oil for sauteing
Ground spices :
- 6 onion grains
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 pieces of red curly chili
- 3 large red peppers
- 1 cm turmeric burned
- 1 cm ginger
Complementary:
- 8 pieces of lontong, buy or make your own
- Fried onions to sprinkle to taste
- 4 boiled eggs, split 2 parts
- Red crackers just taste
How to make
- Small pieces of jackfruit and long beans according to taste then Wash and drain.
- Saute the first spice until it smells fragrant and Followed with bay leaves and galangal.
- Flush with coconut milk, stir briefly and cook until boiling.
- Enter the young jackfruit, long beans, salt and brown sugar and Stir again briefly and cook until done.
- Turn off the fire and serve it to a serving bowl.
