Beef Empress
Ingredients
10 ounces of beef
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
2 cm galangal (crushing)
1/2 liter of water
Sufficient cooking oil for sauteing.
Ground spices
100 gr Brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 pieces of pecans .
10 grains of red onion.
100 ml of water.
3 cloves of garlic.
2 teaspoons fine coriander.
Method
- The first step you should do first is to clean the beef until the meat is completely clean.
- Once clean, then boil the meat together with salt, bay leaves and galangal until completely cooked and tender. Once soft then lift.
- Next, cut the meat in the direction of the fiber or according to your taste.
- Spread the meat with spices that have been mashed and let sit temporarily until the spices soak in the meat.
How to Fry Empal and Present it:
- Prepare the frying pan and fry it until it is brownish and the meat becomes really ripe. Once cooked, remove and drain.
- Serve empal sweet meat while warm and give a sprinkling of fried onions on top to add taste.
