Healthy Bacon Cheese Recipes It is so easy and  tasty !

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 onions
  • 250 grams of lean bacon,
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley,
  • 2 x 500 grams potato slices – pre-packaged, *
  • 200 grams of crème fraiche
  • 1 Reblochon cheese of 400 grams,
  • pepper and salt,
  • butter / olive oil for baking and greasing
  • optional : a glass of dry white wine

Additional Tools :

  • baking pan
  • oven
  • large baking dish (or use 2 small ones).

Directions  :

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (200 hot air) and place the grid just below the middle. Grease the baking dish with a little butter.
  2. Peel the onions, cut them lengthwise and then cut into thin half rings. Peel the garlic and squeeze it out.
  3. Heat a little olive oil in the frying pan and fry the onion and garlic until glassy. Add the bacon strips and fry for 2-3 minutes. Optional: Pour the wine into the pan and let it evaporate while boiling. Then turn off the heat and season with a pinch of pepper and the parsley.
  4. Spread half of the potato slices on the baking dish. Divide half of the onion-bacon mixture over this. And spoon half of the crème fraîche on top. Top off with the second half of the potato slices, the onion-bacon mixture and again the crème fraîche.
  5. Cut the Reblochon cheese in half and place it, with the cutting edge down, on the top layer of potatoes. While melting in the oven, the cheese drips nicely in between.
  6. Put the baking dish with tartiflette in the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Then serve the tartiflette immediately. Serve the oven dish with a simple vegetable like green salad.
